Checkout Studio is a Shopify app that lets a merchant customise the checkout, thank-you, order-status and customer-account pages from one admin. Build a block in the app, place it in Shopify's checkout editor with a Block ID, and every later edit goes live without touching the editor again.

Under the hood it uses Shopify's own checkout UI extensions and Shopify Functions, so it runs inside checkout at native speed and never injects scripts into your theme. Discount, delivery, payment and validation rules run server-side and work on every Shopify plan. Checkout-page blocks and the branding editor use surfaces Shopify reserves for Shopify Plus stores.

Do I need Shopify Plus?

Not for most of it. Discount, delivery, payment and validation rules, thank-you and order-status blocks, customer-account blocks, post-purchase offers and analytics work on Basic, Grow, Advanced and Plus. Blocks placed on the checkout page itself and the branding editor use surfaces Shopify reserves for Shopify Plus stores. The app checks your plan and tells you what is available before you build anything.

Will it conflict with my theme or slow down checkout?

No. Checkout Studio uses Shopify's checkout UI extensions and Shopify Functions. Nothing is injected into your theme and no scripts run on your storefront. Blocks render inside Shopify's own checkout and rules run on Shopify's servers.

Does it work with my payment and shipping providers?

Yes. Rules act on whatever delivery options and payment methods your store already offers, including express wallets. You can hide, rename and reorder them by cart value, customer, location, product and more.

How long does setup take?

Install, pick a block from the gallery or a ready-made template, set its content and rules, then paste the Block ID into the app block in Shopify's checkout editor. First block live in about ten minutes. Later edits go live from the app without opening the editor again.

What happens if I downgrade or uninstall?

Downgrading never deletes anything. Blocks over your new limit stop rendering and extra rules switch off until you re-enable them. Uninstalling removes the app's blocks and rules from checkout and the app deletes your store data in line with Shopify's data-protection requirements.
