Ganzitos — Spanish Women's Footwear Storefront on Shopify

A Shopify storefront for a Madrid women's footwear brand making leather shoes in Spain — ballerinas, Mary Janes, loafers and heels. Products are reachable through four parallel filters: selection (bestsellers, events, bridal, icons, pre-order), style, colour and material. The site is video-led, with autoplaying campaign film in the hero and multiple product sections, and it pairs online sales with a Lagasca flagship, a Reveni-powered self-service returns portal, WhatsApp customer service, wholesale and press contacts, and pre-order collections for unreleased stock.

The brief

The challenge, and how we approached it

01

The challenge

Shoe shoppers arrive with four different starting points — an occasion (a wedding), a style (loafers), a colour to match an outfit, or a material. A conventional style-only menu serves one and loses the rest. On top of that, footwear carries the highest return rate in fashion because of sizing, and this brand sells across online, a Madrid flagship and wholesale at once.

02

Our approach

Four parallel collection axes over one catalogue — selection, style, colour and material — with occasion-driven entries (Eventos, Novia) sitting alongside them, so a bridal shopper and a colour-matching shopper each get a direct route. Sizing risk is addressed head-on: a size guide, a care guide and a self-service returns portal through Reveni, so exchanges resolve without a support ticket. Pre-order collections capture demand on stock that hasn't landed. Video carries the merchandising — campaign film in the hero and through the page — with a UGC section and the flagship store tied in. Customer service runs through WhatsApp alongside separate wholesale and press channels, with bilingual ES/EN support and localised European payment methods.

How it ran

10 weeks build, in four stages

Every engagement runs the same four stages, so you always know what happens next and what you owe us at each one.

Stage 1

Audit and scope

We review the current theme, apps and analytics, then write a fixed-scope SOW with named deliverables and a date.

Stage 2

Design and build

Work happens in a dev store on a Git-backed workflow. You get a preview link from week one, not a reveal at the end.

Stage 3

QA and launch

Cross-browser and device QA, redirect map, analytics verification, then a launch window agreed with you rather than dropped on you.

Stage 4

Hypercare

Fourteen to sixty days of included post-launch support while real traffic finds the edge cases.

The outcome

Where Dana's Bakery landed

Conversion is up 2.1× after the PDP rebuild, AOV is up 34% year-over-year thanks to gifting upsells, and drop days are now smooth — zero downtime across 12 drops in the past year.

Every drop day was a stress event before. Now they're just a Tuesday. The team built us infrastructure we can actually grow on.
