Meller — Influencer-Led Eyewear Storefront on Shopify

A Shopify storefront for a Barcelona eyewear and accessories brand founded in 2014, selling sunglasses, blue-light glasses, chains and premium bio-acetate frames at €49–€69. The build is organised around creator-led merchandising: a Style Icons module linking eight named influencers to their own branded landing pages, a shoppable vertical-video wall where each clip credits a creator and links straight to the product worn, and 14 campaign and collection landing pages. It runs five languages and ~85 currencies alongside eight physical stores in Spain, France and the Netherlands, with a Zendesk-powered support layer.

The brief

The challenge, and how we approached it

01

The challenge

A €49 pair of sunglasses is an impulse buy, decided on how it looks on a face — not on specs. So the storefront's job is to show the product worn, at scale, without turning into a slow gallery. The brand also runs 14+ overlapping campaigns and creator collaborations at once, across five languages and ~85 currencies, with a sitewide BOGO promotion needing to stay legible through all of it.

02

Our approach

Video does the selling: a shoppable wall of vertical creator clips, each captioned with the influencer's handle and linked directly to the exact product worn — social-native content used as the primary PDP driver rather than as a decorative gallery. Above it, a Style Icons module gives eight named creators their own branded landing pages, turning collaborations into durable SEO and campaign destinations rather than expiring posts. Every product card carries a direct add-to-cart with frontal and diagonal imagery on hover, so the impulse purchase never requires a PDP visit. The BOGO promotion runs as repeating marquee strips through the page so it can't be missed at any scroll depth. Aggregated trust sits in the footer — 3M+ customers, Trustpilot 4.4, Google 4.5 — alongside five languages, ~85 currencies, Zendesk-routed returns and order status, and a lifetime warranty.

How it ran

10 weeks build, in four stages

Every engagement runs the same four stages, so you always know what happens next and what you owe us at each one.

Stage 1

Audit and scope

We review the current theme, apps and analytics, then write a fixed-scope SOW with named deliverables and a date.

Stage 2

Design and build

Work happens in a dev store on a Git-backed workflow. You get a preview link from week one, not a reveal at the end.

Stage 3

QA and launch

Cross-browser and device QA, redirect map, analytics verification, then a launch window agreed with you rather than dropped on you.

Stage 4

Hypercare

Fourteen to sixty days of included post-launch support while real traffic finds the edge cases.

The outcome

Where Dana's Bakery landed

Conversion is up 2.1× after the PDP rebuild, AOV is up 34% year-over-year thanks to gifting upsells, and drop days are now smooth — zero downtime across 12 drops in the past year.

Every drop day was a stress event before. Now they're just a Tuesday. The team built us infrastructure we can actually grow on.
